San Francisco Giants Continue To Roll As One Of MLB's Top Teams Early

The San Francisco Giants continue to showcase their dominance this year in the early part of the 2025 season as they continue to string together wins. The Giants are showcasing some early power with the likes of June Hoo Lee, Wilmer Flores, Tyler Fitzgerald, and Heliot Ramos.

These players, along with others, have continue to get the ball down and keep positions, allowing San Francisco to rack up, wins early and giving them one of the best positions in baseball currently. In a NL West division that is always tough with the likes of the Los Angeles Dodgers, and San Diego Padres. They have really been able to stand out from the pack, although there's a lot of other teams within the division that are right there with them.

The Giants currently, at the time of this writing, are set in fourth place in all of baseball and show no signs of slowing down yet.

The first time the Giants have lost a series this year so far was against the Los Angeles Angels, and that is the best way to have started the season. When you can get multiple series wins very early in the season that only pushes you up the pecking order when it comes to being the best teams in baseball now it is way too early to talk about anything past the All-Star game, but there really isn't a negative area that has a spotlight on it within the Giants roster currently.

For the first time in a long time, the San Francisco Giants have a lot of depth in pretty much every single spot on the field. In for the first time in a long time, they have a lot of depth in pitching. The likes of Rodgers, Doval, Birdsong, Rodriguez all have had their own chance to shine through the early parts of the season, and it seems that they are proving to be the shoulder to lean on for the team.

When the Giants were in their most recent World Series runs, their backbone was on pitching and timely offense, and you can see a lot of the same links to this year's San Francisco Giants squad. It appears that Buster Posey, San Francisco Giants president of baseball operations, has modeled this team similar to the teams that he was a part of and it's working. When you have a complementary manager to be able to manage in a similar way you can see why the San Francisco Giants are starting off the season very well. At the time of this writing the Giants are currently 17-9 while last taking on the Brewers at Oracle Park resulting in a 6-5 comeback victory on 4/24/2025.

The Giants got into a hole early after a Mike Yastrzemski home-run that tied the game at two each with some defensive mishaps in the 4th inning which allowed three runs to cross the plate. The Giants came back, with confidence in the box, and Matt Chapman connected on a home run scoring himself and Jung Hoo Lee.

Mike Yastrzemski made his name known again against the Brewers as he forced a infield hit which allowed a game tying score to cross the plate tying the game at five. Willy Adames came to the plate and the former Brewer put the Giants ahead with a hard hit which forced an error by Christian Yelich to score Christian Koss. Camilo Doval was able to come into the game and after walking the first batter, create three pop ups to end the game. The Giants will host Bruce Bochy and the Texas Rangers tomorrow after ending their series with the Brewers with the series win.
