The Earthquakes will also face off against San Diego FC as San Diego kicks-off their first season in their history. Moreover, the 2025 season holds special significance as it marks the 30th anniversary of the inaugural MLS game, which took place against D.C. United in San Jose. San Jose will host LAFC on September 13th, 2025 at Levi's Stadium, the home of the San Francisco 49ers. They aim to extend their winning streak at Levi's, which includes victories over LAFC and Liga MX's Chivas in the Leagues Cup. Both games had over 40,000 fans in attendance, and has become of the biggest games of the season.
